Word from the President

I had a vision and wanted to contribute to the tourist business on Aruba, said Edgar Croes the owner of Watapana Tours. In 1991 I acquired a second hand bus to take tourists around the Island and tour the most historic corners of Aruba. I started as the so called “one man show”.

My spouse Hellen assisted me in handling the reservations from our home.

We had no fancy offices, added Edgar, just a phone and fax that was it!

Our business took off immediately because of the demand and I purchased two additional busses of 15 pax each to tackle this luxury problem.

Shortly after, I noticed that the tourist demanded other activities and almost simultaneously I purchased ATV’s, Dune Buggies, Jeeps for the safari tour and other busses.

Today almost 15 years later my enterprise comprises of around 30 highly motivated staff.

Our mission is to become the number one touring and sight seeing company on Aruba and to exceed customer satisfaction.
